Sony Ericsson Unveils Aspen

Sony Ericsson has announced its latest Greenheart handset, a candy-bar-shaped smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard, dubbed Aspen.

Powered by the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system, the Sony Ericsson Aspen sports a 2.4 inch touchscreen (230 x 240 resolution) along with a 3.5mm headphone input, aGPS, WiFi connectivity and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart line of phones are made entirely with recycled materials, feature only digital manuals and eco-friendly packaging and sport advanced power management features to help reduce overall energy consumption.

The Aspen will be available in two color schemes with a release expected in Q2 2010. Pricing details have yet to be released.
