Google has released Google Maps for Mobile version 3.2 for Blackberry devices, available today from m.google.com/maps.
Blackberry owners have been waiting months for the release with both Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 devices having received the update, which includes the new Layers feature, last July. The Layers feature, designed by Google Labs, offers several layers of additional information to be overlaid on maps; features include transit maps and schedules, Wikipedia data, search results, traffic reports, driving directions and Google Latitude information.
