American wireless provider AT&T has announced a contest aimed at application developers with a top prize of $10,000 USD to be handed at the CTIA Wireless trade show in Las Vegas on March 24, 2010.

Developers of all stripes are invited to take part in creating apps for the Brew Mobile Platform, Java/RIM, Google Android or any other mobile platform via the “open” category; the $10,000 grand prize is accented by go-to-market and big promotional opportunities along with an AT&T Open Call Award.

Applications for the first round of the competition are now being accepted and must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST on March 1, 2010. Applications can be submitted via the AT&T Open Call web site.
