Samsung has announced the S9110, the thinnest watch phone yet to be manufactured. Samsung claims that the advanced surface mounting technology has allowed the S9110 a width of only 11.98mm.
A surprising list of features includes a 176×220 pixel touchscreen display, MP3 playback and 40 MB of internal storage for files and voice recordings. If tiny buttons are difficult for you there is always voice-activated dialing and speakerphone options to rely on.
In addition to its dual-band (900/1800MHz) capabilities it has been revealed that the S9110 sports Bluetooth capability, allowing you to speak into a headset instead of your wrist and making a watch phone in general a much more palatable purchase for general users (read: non-spies).
Samsung is planning a Q4 2009 release for the S9110, premiering first in France before making its way to other European countries.
