Nokia kicked off their annual Nokia World event today in Stuttgart, Germany, quickly introducing the upcoming X6 and X3 Comes with Music handsets to get the event started. These latest announcements follow last week’s unveiling of the Nokia N900 3G internet tablet device.
Details concerning the new handsets are sparse so far but it has been confirmed that the X6 will sport a 3.2 inch touchscreen, 32 GB of internal memory and full multimedia capabilities. The included 5 megapixel camera offers Carl Zeiss optics and a dual LED flash, geo-tagging, TV-out and included video editing software.
The Nokia X3 is a lower-end slider phone featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera with full music-playback options and support for a microSD card of up to 16 GB.
Both the X6 and the X3 are expected to be available for purchase in Q4 2009 with estimated pricing of $500 USD and $150 USD respectively.
