Following several reports last week of exploding iPhone devices and a subsequent investigation launched by French authorities, Apple is denying that its flagship mobile handset contains any unsafe components. After a report by the American Foreign Press last week indicated that several of the devices had suffered some internal explosion, apparently due to overheating, Apple retorted with a statement denying that there was any issue with iPhone components and claiming that their own investigation indicated that the resulting broken screens and other damages had been caused by external pressure.
Several French iPhone users have reported injuries due to shattering screens during calls, prompting the initial investigation.
