Apple has announced another update to its iPhone firmware with an upgrade to version 3.0.1. This upgrade fixes potential security flaws that could allow for malicious SMS messages to jam services. Apple’s official security release indicates that a memory corruption issue in the SMS message decoding sequence could allow a hacker to execute code while messages are opened.
