This information is slightly incorrect.

The ATT version of the X10a, has only a 2GB MicroSD card and only 2GB of internal storage beyond the SD card. Rogers, et al, have 8GB MicroSD, and either 8 or 16GB internal storage. Memory in both is 384mb (ATT says 400mb but that's rounding error).

One last question though, will debranding erase my phone settings/applications that were downloaded (do I have to back up?)

@ Emkay

Once you flash generic firmware with us, SE's software will recognize your phone this way, offering later updates free of charge.

I'm not aware of a release of RBA028 but we'll have it online the moment we get news of a release from SE.

If I debrand my Xperia X10 and select a certain firmware. Later a new firmware update is available, do I have to purchase credit again in order to get the latest firmware update? Secondly, does the davinciteam have all possible firwmare updates; recently RBA028 was released and was wondering if this is available here as well?

@chris

From the tutorial above:

1. ...hold down the “C” button on your phone while plugging the USB cable into your computer (Satio owners hold green “call” button, Xperia X10 hold the right-hand directional button)...

2. Note that some users of Windows Vista and Windows 7 may need to run the client software with admin rights; you can do this by right-clicking client.exe locally and selecting “Run as administrator”.

Note that running locally means to download the file to your computer, then right-click the file itself - right-clicking the web link to the file within your browser won't do the trick.

Please do follow the tutorial closely and let us know at support@davinciteam.com if you have any questions not answered there.
