To test our service’s compatibility with your phone we provide a test account that can be used to log into the client software. Logging into the test account and connecting your phone to our client software will also allow you to easily see your phone’s details including firmware version, CID value and much more.

In order to log into the client software and connect your Sony Ericsson device, please follow these instructions:

Install the USB flash drivers. This package of drivers is vital, allowing your computer (and our software) to recognize your phone and work with it. Download the driver package here and then run the .exe file and follow instructions to install.

Download our client software. Our client is the interface you use to perform any action on your phone. You can download the client here; log in with the customer ID “5555″ and the password “5555″ (no quotes) when you run it. Note that some users of Windows Vista and Windows 7 may need to run the client software with admin rights; you can do this by right-clicking client.exe locally and selecting “Run as administrator”.

Connect your phone. With the phone fully charged and powered off, hold down the “C” button on your phone while plugging the USB cable into your computer (Satio owners hold green “call” button). Allow the client a moment to recognize your phone and display its details.

Note that no operations can be run while logged into the test account.

Use this simple set of instructions and accompanying video to easily request and enter an unlock code in order to SIM unlock your Motorola phone.

Open an account. Unlocking by code costs 13 credits (10 EUR, about $15 USD); you can purchase with us quickly and easily by visiting our secure shopping area. Your account is created the moment payment is sent and you’ll receive your account details via email instantly.

Log into the customer area. Using the account details that were emailed to you following payment, log into the DavinciTeam customer area.

Request your unlock code. Click on the link in the left menu titled “Unlock By Code” and then follow instructions to enter your details and request the code. Your code will be delivered by email within 72 business hours of the request.

That’s it! Your Motorola phone is now unlocked.

If instead of the “Enter Special Code” prompt you see on of the messages below, please wait two hours and then try again:

Contact Service Provider

Tamper Alert

Wait before entering special code

From basic questions to advanced ones, we’re here to offer answers!

What is the benefit of debranding? Debranding means to flash generic firmware straight from a manufacturer like Nokia as opposed to from a provider like Vodafone. Providers add their branding, links, logos and restrictions to the firmware of phone’s they release, so effects range from eyesores like ugly boot logos to real loss of use through feature restrictions that suit the provider. With DavinciTeam’s service you can quickly and easily flash generic firmware to the phone, eliminating all of the irritations of provider firmware.

Does debranding unlock my phone? No, changing the phone’s firmware will not SIM unlock your phone. DavinciTeam does not currently offer unlocking services for Nokia phones (unlocking by code is available for users on the AT&T network in the United States).

Use this simple set of instructions and accompanying video to get a feel for the flashing process with DavinciTeam:

Open an account. Flashing costs 10 credits (10 EUR, about $15 USD); you can purchase with us quickly and easily by visiting our secure shopping area. Your account is created the moment payment is sent and you’ll receive your account details via email instantly.

Install the USB flash drivers. This package of drivers is vital, allowing your computer (and our software) to recognize your phone and work with it. Download the driver package here and then run the .exe file and follow instructions to install.

Download our client software. Our client is the interface you use to perform any action on your phone. You can download the client here; log in with your new account details when you run it. Note that some users of Windows Vista and Windows 7 may need to run the client software with admin rights; you can do this by right-clicking client.exe locally and selecting “Run as administrator”.

Connect your phone. Power the phone off and plug the USB cable into the phone with the client open. Select “PC Suite” on the handset when prompted and allow the client a moment to recognize your phone.

Select your service. From the service menu that pops up select “Flash/Debrand/Rebrand”.

Choose your firmware. Highlight a firmware version in the list provided; use the filter boxes to narrow your search. Note that all version labeled “GENERIC” or “CUSTOMIZED” are generic and unbranded.

Press GO. Click the “GO” button to get the flash started and allow the client to do its thing. That’s it, enjoy your freshly customized phone!

From basic questions to advanced ones, we’re here to offer answers!

What does it mean to debrand? Put simply, Sony Ericsson creates and releases firmware (software for a phone) when they release a new model. Before service providers (e.g. AT&T, 3, O2, et al) receive a phone to release from Sony Ericsson, they also receive the firmware for the phone. The provider then edits that firmware to include their own logos, apps and restrictions and put it on the phones they release before selling them. Debranding means to flash the original Sony Ericsson firmware to your phone, in the state it was released generically (that is, before the provider edited the firmware to add logos, apps, restrictions, etc).

What is the benefit of debranding? Debranding means to flash generic firmware straight from a manufacturer like Sony Ericsson as opposed to from a provider like Vodafone. Providers add their branding, links, logos and restrictions to the firmware of phone’s they release, so effects range from eyesores like ugly boot logos to real loss of use like AT&T’s blocking of WiFi in the C905. With DavinciTeam’s service you can quickly and easily flash generic firmware to the phone, eliminating all of the irritations of provider firmware.

Does debranding unlock my phone? No, changing the phone’s firmware will not SIM unlock your phone. That is a separate process offered by DavinciTeam for most phones; please click here for more information.

Use this simple set of instructions and accompanying video to get a feel for the flashing process with DavinciTeam:

This package of drivers is vital, allowing your computer (and our software) to recognize your phone and work with it. Download the driver package here and then run the .exe file and follow instructions to install.

Download our client software. Our client is the interface you use to perform any action on your phone. You can download the client here; log in with your new account details when you run it.
